Q: How do I book a tee time?
A: Securing your spot on our course is easy. The fastest way is to book your tee time online through our website. You can also call our pro shop directly, and our staff will be happy to assist you with your reservation.
Q: What are your green fees and rates?
A: Our rates vary based on the season, time of day, and whether you are a resident. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, please check our online tee time booking system, which displays all available rates, or contact the pro shop.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: We maintain a standard golf dress code to ensure an enjoyable experience for all. We require collared shirts (or appropriate golf-specific mock necks) and tailored pants or shorts. Denim, gym wear, sandals or barefoot golf, not permitted. Metal spikes are also not permitted on the course.
Q: Do you offer golf club rentals?
A: Yes, we have a full set of modern, high-quality rental clubs available for men, women, and left-handed players. We recommend reserving clubs in advance when you book your tee time, especially on busy days.
Q: Is San Ramon Golf Course open to the public?
A: Absolutely. San Ramon Golf Course is a public golf course. We welcome both local golfers and visitors from out of town.
Q: How long does a typical round of golf take at San Ramon?
A: To ensure an enjoyable pace for all players, we expect a round at San Ramon to be completed in approximately 4 hours. We appreciate our golfers being mindful of pace and ready to play when it’s their turn.
Q: What type of grass is on the greens and fairways?
A: Our greens are meticulously maintained Poa Annua, providing a smooth and true roll. The fairways and tees are a lush, Kikuyu and Bermuda grass blend, ensuring ideal playing conditions throughout our primary seasons. The practice greens are bentgrass.
Q: Does the course have a driving range?
A: Yes! San Ramon Golf Club offers two practice greens, a chipping area, and full-length driving range.
Q: Can I host a tournament or corporate outing at San Ramon?

Q: What is the cancellation policy for tee times?
A: We understand that plans change. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel a tee time without penalty. Please call the pro shop as soon as possible to cancel or modify your reservation.
Q: Are riding carts included with the green fee?
A: Our green fees typically do not include the use of a cart. Cart fees cover the cost of individual riders in a shared cart.
Q: Does San Ramon have a restaurant or 19th hole?

Q: Are coolers allowed?
A: It is not permitted for guests to bring their own coolers and/or food and beverage products to our facility. Coolers are provided on each of our golf carts for our guests’ convenience. We offer a restaurant for our guests to purchase food and beverage products. Guests are welcome to buy extra products and stock them in the coolers provided to them on our golf carts.
Inclement Weather Policy
Weather checks are issued at the sole discretion of San Ramon. If the golf course is deemed unplayable or closed for the day, the group will not be responsible for the day’s fees. Deposits may be refundable based on conditions. We encourage you to call ahead if the weather is in question to you. Weather checks will not be issued for more than nine holes of play if the customer completes more than 9 holes of play and then quits due to weather during their back nine, no credit will be issued. Every effort will be made to reach a fair agreement between San Ramon Golf Course and your group outing.
