Junior Camps

What’s it all about?

We’re excited to announce our junior summer programs for 2013. Denise Philbrick will be coordinating the camps in conjunction with players from our varsity Academy program. Our summer junior programs are designed to introduce the game of golf to the junior as “the Game of a Lifetime.” We base our programs on teaching the junior golfers the proper etiquette (manners) of golf and how a positive attitude translates into every day life at home, school and other social or recreational activities the kids participate in. Denise Philbrick is an outstanding teacher and motivator for kids of all ages. Her friendly demeanor and pleasant personality creates an environment where the juniors can learn at their own pace, be challenged to improve and understand the behavior required for the game of golf and how it relates to life skills as well.

Denise Philbrick, current Teaching Professional and Junior Golf Director played on the LPGA Tour in 1995 after winning the Qualifying tournament with a score of 15 under par! Denise was an All-American at San Jose State 1988- 1989 and has won over thirty professional tournaments! Denise, an avid sports fan also challenges the juniors to improve their flexibility, strength and agility. Additionally, Denise works with Jim Collins, PGA GM with the Varsity & Junior Varsity Academy program for juniors who currently play or have the desire to play on their school teams.
